The ASSET Group is committed to making engineering accessible to everyone. In 2021, Dr. Lisa Tobber was awarded the Principal Research Chair in Women in Engineering. The group develops initiatives for engaging and retaining female students through building positive and effective relationships in engineering pedagogical and research contexts.
Furthermore, steps are taken in improving the training of both female engineering students and female practicing engineers. The ASSET group is always keen in collaborating with industry and community.
