The precast concrete structures course code ENGR 414 is offered for the first time at UBC Okanagan by Dr Lisa Tobber.
This course consists of two parts, theory and laboratory, which will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12/5 at the ART faculty. It should be noted that the laboratory is held every Monday morning from 8 to 10 a.m. every other week.
Considering Canada’s need to create housing and the short time it takes to build prefabricated structures, it has been significantly noticed by builders and engineers, and since the knowledge in this field is limited, the University of British Columbia leading by Dr Lisa tobber has decided to provide this course and Also, conducting research to increase the knowledge of precast concrete structures has greatly contributed to the engineering community of Canada and the world.
